2022 Renegade sunroof won't close

Is this an isolated case? I've had minor tech issues in this Jeep, but this sunroof problem has bothered me so much. It doesn't close fully and when I helped pull it, it won't fully close. I tried the switch but it's not working anymore. How have you guys fixed this? I'm pretty sure if it happened to a very careful person like me, it would happen to anyone.

gosh, sunroof problem is the worst. Have you tried looking in the tracks for any obvious obstructions like leaves, small debris, or anything that might be blocking it?

Sunroof issues like that aren't uncommon and usually, resetting the sunroof module or checking the motor and tracks for obstructions helps

Yeah, it's not just you,lots of people deal with sunroof problems. Have you thought about holding the switch for 10-15 seconds to reset it? Sometimes the track gets dirty or the motor gets weak. Is it stuck tilted or halfway open? Usually, cleaning the tracks or doing a reset can help fix it

Since it's a 2022 model, you should still be under your factory warranty (typically 3year/36K mile basic warranty, and a 5year/60K mile powertrain warranty, but sunroofs usually fall under basic). This is absolutely something that should be covered by Jeep

It's not unusual to run into sunroof problems with newer Jeeps, unfortunately. This could be related to either the track alignment or the motor. Be careful not to force it closed to prevent more damage. It's best to have a dealer service take care of this under warranty. Some have successfully resolved similar issues through track cleaning or getting the motor replaced.
