brand new renegade altitude has cruise control & collision warning problems

Okay, so my son's 2025 Renegade Altitude is having some weird issues, and he's scratching his head.

He's had it for a bit, and lately, his cruise control keeps intermittently flashing a "Cruise Control temporarily unavailable" message when he tries to use it. If he restarts the car, it works again, but then it'll inevitably pop up sometime later.

Then, just this morning, I took the car to near by wallmart and got a "Service Forward Collision" and "Service Emergency Brake" message while I was driving.
Funny that, as soon as he restarted the vehicle, all those warnings went away.

He's really hesitant to take it to the dealer because, without any current error codes, they'll probably just shrug and say they can't figure it out.
What's the best thing to do about the car's problem now?

Any and all help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

sensors and software, huh? yeah not something that an old boomer like me can help. repairing bikes is not something new for me, but mostly old bikes, you know, with less electronics, just simpler. modern bikes are way more complicated haha

I completely get it! Today's bikes, with all their sensors and tech, are way more complicated than the basic mechanical systems we're familiar with. Mostly, those older, simpler bikes were a lot easier to diagnose and repair.
