Not sure how common this is but yeah. Got this Jeep Renegade 2017 Trailhawk with about a 100k on her. Never runs into any engine related issues at all and has just changed the oil & oil filter. The car ran fine this afternoon, and I left it outside at -12 degrees for like 2 hours. Then the car now jsut wont start. I heard the cranking, but the engine just wont run. I had a passerby jump my battery for 3 min still won't start. The computer also started going crazy lkie after several attempts to start the car and gave me several warnings on coolant, ABS, etc. Any idea what might be the problem here?

The initial symptoms point to a weak battery, but there are a few other things you'll need to keep in mind. It has 100k, so sparkplugs and coilpacks could be tires and in need of replacing. Also -12 isn't the most friendly environment for fuel, so it's not a problem that plague jeeps only.

Youre right.. at -12degrees, a weak battery or loose connection can crank but still not fire up, and all those warning lights usually mean low voltage. Even with a jump, if the battery's dying it wont hold enough charge, so i'd start by testing or replacing the battery and checking the terminals before looking into anything bigger.
